About me

Hi, I'm Lindsey

I'm an equine and portrait photographer based out of Astoria, Oregon.

My 20 years of horse experience started with pleasure horses, until making the switch to reining and cowhorse in high school. While qualifying for the 2015 AQHA Youth World Championships in reining, ranch riding, and cowhorse I began taking photos of other competitors and grew a passion for equine photography.

I relocated from Eugene to Bend, OR in 2016 and took a break from horse shows and most photography aside from headshots for friends' rodeo queen applications. In 2019 I earned the title of Jefferson County Fair & Rodeo Queen, I loved having the opportunity to travel the state representing the sport of rodeo. I had a blast returning to the rodeo arena in 2024 as a photographer for the Northwest Professional Rodeo Association.

I met my now husband, Ryan, in 2018. We welcomed our daughter, Harper, in December 2021 and moved to his hometown, Astoria, shortly after to be closer to his family. I decided to pull my camera out of storage in 2023 and started Lindsey Isom Photography. I love having the ability to provide high quality images of families, pets and equestrians with their equine partners.
